Surf's up

He goes by many names, like Nicky "Sticky Fingers", and Nicky "No Neck". But here he's simply Nicky, "The Grom".

He's got that 'Only a surfer knows the feeling' look ...

Surf's up.
Surf's down.

These days the line to use the computer starts behind Lizzy ...

It's not mainstream baby attire, but the infant headband is catching on ....

Lizzy's 4 ! and other stuff...

Spring training began this week. Batting practice didn't last long because when she went to retrieve the ball, some flowers caught her attention and it was over from there.

Lizzy doesn't tower over too many kids, so she's enjoying this moment.

Lizzy doing her best to avoid getting diabetes.

Lizzy having a happy moment at her Chik-fil-a bday party.

The happy moment briefly ended when the huge cow showed up. Seriously, look at the size of that cow.

Dominic watching Mom eat a Qdoba burrito.

She won't dare hold a lady bug but somehow holding this live lizard doesn't bother her.

hanging out

Nicky, lost in toyland.
Lizzy makes a trade, swapping her teddy bear for Nicky's blanket.
The brownie says, "I love daddy", but after daddy threatened to eat the whole thing she may have had a change of heart.
Need to find out where Nicky got those pants, those things are looking sweet. They didn't have the "Bumbo" seat when Lizzy was his age. Judging from the smile, he seems to like it.

After sitting in the "Bumbo" for six hours, Dad had to straighten him out.

Winter update

Apprently you're never too old to sit under the toys meant for infants. Here big sis moves in on Nicky's space.

A little tummy time on big sis.

Tummy time coming to an end. When the crying started Lizzy was heard saying "I'm done with him".

Count them: One, two, three, four, five DEAD lady bugs.

SNOW!!! ( a little...)

We received a little snow this morning in Raleigh. It was enough to make a small snowman on our deck. Pictured here is "Henry" (Lizzy's name for him). He's got arms of sticks and a 2 cent head ( his eyes are pennies).

Not be confused with Henry is this guy, who was described as having, " a million dollar arm and a 10 cent head".

Here we are taking a break to pose for a picture with Henry.

The fingers are cold, so it was time to head inside and eat some Cheerios.

Dominic never met Henry, but some day we'll tell him about him.
